A few days ago CEO of Sizzle Miami and Platinum Planning Group Inc. Dwight Powell released details about his New National Gay & Lesbian Getaway. I believe it’s time to pack away your sunscreen and shorts because this new event is tucked away in the mountain range of Aspen, Colorado. The acclaimed Premier Urban Aspen Gay & Lesbian Winter Getaway will take place during the Urban Ski Week of February 1st – 4th, 2013!

After the much success of Sizzle Miami during Memorial Day weekend, Powell and Platinum Planning Group have advanced to providing a more, “Elite”, “Upscale” and “Premium” Experience off the beach and into the Majestic Mountains of Aspen.  This new event is For America’s elite; hardworking gay & lesbian professionals that desire and demand the finer experiences that life and money have to offer!

Aspen Urban Ski Week 2013 promises a vacation experience of a lifetime. From taking on world-class slopes, partying in your pajamas, to soaking up the fun at their highly anticipated midnight splash heated pool event, outdoor adventure, divine dining, stirring nightlife, and exceptional shopping. Aspen Urban Ski Week will definitely be a weekend to remember. According to reps “If you’re looking for a non-stop, high energy, crowded party-life atmosphere, then this event probably isn’t for you. On the other hand, if you’re yearning a less-intense, laid-back, soothing, quaint, but still fun vacation getaway, then Urban Ski Week 2013 in Aspen, Colorado is just what you’ve been looking for”.

This is definitely a MUST attend event to experience with friends and significant others. Those who have already experienced the hotness of Sizzle Miami already know what to expect from Dwight Powell. All Aboard! – Montreal, Quebec

By Romeo Thomas Redwine

All aboard!. Greetings from an direct train to Montreal, Quebec. Hello, this is your weekly travel information on unique and new exciting cities to explore outside the usual. I personally think we need to think broader, seek more, and do more. Their of course is nothing wrong with Miami, Atlanta, or Los Angeles however with just a simple passport the world awaits. Today’s journey starts aboard a relaxing train ride going northbound from New York City. Montreal, Quebec is an alluring, dynamic French city only ten hours away via train from New York City. Situated on the mighty St. Lawrence and Ottawa rivers, Montreal is Canada’s second largest city with an wealth of events to please that urban male from the city.

French is the first language, however you will be just fine adapting the this unique city. Paris is always open for tourists, and Montreal is no different. Once you arrive after a leisurely ride through New York State and neighboring Canada you are greeted by amazing train station. The French culture immediately invites you with signs in native French and ‘simple’ English. One of the wonderful things Montreal presents is the diverse array of museums. Most are free, and open in the late hours. I recommend day one to get adjusted to this world class city by taking in one of the numerous fancy cafes in the trendy downtown area. Hotels are plentiful with all the chains accounted for. However I recommend a classic bed and breakfast.

When walking the city, make sure you soak in the European flair Montreal is known for. Montreal’s underground train system is legendary with each station unique and artful. It has been called ‘the largest underground art gallery in the world’. Montreal is affordable for a relaxing getaway. I recommend it highly. Finally, due to new laws, it is now necessary to have a passport to enter Canada. Safe travels. save a seat for me.
