Chris Brown Drops “Love More”

By Stephfon Guidry

love-more-audio-chris-brownThe 808 thumps in your speakers and Chris Brown is back in your eardrums with new single “Love More” featuring Nicki Minaj. Chris Breezy embraces his edgy bad boy image with this sexed up track.

The music video begins with an all black SUV accented with neon lights there is almost a futuristic feel. Continuing the neon motif, Chris appears behind an X-ray wall half-dressed showing off his tatted up physique and nonchalant swagger. On the way to the club Chris jokes with his friend in the car and some hot chicks in the backseat. Greeted by a club overflowing with women and rocking a b-boy style, Chris Brown dances circles with around the gorgeous beauties on the dance floor. The choreography doesn’t disappoint as Breezy leaves it all on the floor with precision.

Queen of the Hip Hop feature Black Barbie Nicki Minaj spits a few bars, stealing hearts and boyfriends. “Love More” is the lead track of Chris’s Upcoming album “X”. Shockingly Chris Brown tweeted, “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.” With a Hot beat, catchy hook and sickening feature Love More follows the formula for a successful single but ultimately it’s up to sales so are you going to jam it or slam it? Brown + Banks…A Bad Boy and a Brainy Bombshell!

By Stephfon Guidry

Na Na Na Come on people, it seems like whenever Chris Brown is about to take two steps forward in his career he gets into a silly predicament and has to take one back. The controversy and news making event of the release of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake REMIX” featuring Chris Brown and the “Turn Up the Music REMIX” featuring Rihanna brought fans, stans, and haters to their social media accounts and still has them talking.

Chris Brown recently won a Grammy and while leaving his celebration at a night club a fan, Christal Spann, hoped to snap a pic of the celeb leaving the club. Her police report states that while Chris was relaxing in his Bentley preparing to exit he snatched her $500 iPhone through the window and allegedly said, “B***h you ain’t going to put that on no website” and drove away. The report calls it “robbery by sudden snatching”. However it is hard to believe after Chris recently went to a Miami Heat game and candidly took photos with fans. If Brown is charged this would be a violation of his parole and he would face some jail time and “robbery” would be added to his record—now that’s a Bad Boy baby!

Currently Chris Brown’s Lawyer, Mark Geragos, is handling all of his legal matters and Chris Brown is no longer in Miami. A source tells RadarOnline, “Make no mistake, Chris is taking this very seriously. He knows that one arrest could unleash a wave of new legal problems for him because he is still on felony probation.” While Chris Brown went from on top of the world to back in the court room, Tyra Banks, a supermodel who left the catwalk for a college classroom has snagged her degree.

Tyra Banks recently posted picks on her twitter taken of her holding her degree from Harvard business school! She is a woman of her word as she continues to encourage young girls all around the country to build up their self-esteem with her summer camp, star careers with America’s Next Top Model, and get an education now as a graduate with a college degree. Tyra tweeted, “Smiling ear2ear on the Harvard Business School campus w/ my diploma! Tnx 2 my fab photographer mama 4 the pic!” Now Tyra is ready to place her focus back on the runway with America’s Next Top Model Cycle 19, dubbed the ‘College Edition’ as the current cycle begins to air on The CW Wednesday February 29!

New Music Video: Rihanna “We Found Love”

By Melvin Browne

So Rihanna blessed us this week with the music video to her 1st single “We Found Love” from her new album “Talk That Talk” in stores November 21st. Filmed in Ireland, the video “somewhat” reflected Rihanna’s situation with Chris Brown. Featured in the video was boxer-model Dudley O’Shaughnessy, who plays Rihanna’s love boo and he “somewhat” resembled ex-boo CBreezy. I LOVE this Song and the Video is definitely worth watching. So check it out ENJOY!

No Shows at the Award Show

By Stephfon Guidry

BET Hip Hop Awards entertained, opened ears and made you laugh; it mended a friendship that was long overdue for some forgiveness.  Truly da King of the South is the rubber band man, as T.I. bounced back with flexing (iHope he didn’t FLEX too much in jail) rhymes and his classic swagger the crowd welcomed his return. Atlantic Civic Center opened its doors to urban hip hop legends Heavy D, DMX, Da Brat and more.

First let me dish out all those tweeting #WINNING from their velvet seats last night:  Chris Brown took four awards all for his club banging, douging hit “Look at Me Now”, Lil Wayne scored meager two awards #IdemandAreCOUNT, Nicki Minaj won two as well and Kanye West, Jay-Z, Waka Floka Fame and more. Rap titan himself nominated for a dominating 18 nods receiving only two, Lil Wayne aka Lil Tunchi, gripped the coveted Lyricists of Year and Best Live Performer awards.  Rihanna found the love enough to comment positively on Chris Brown’s night of #WINNING, “It’s incredible to see how he pulled out the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him.”  ( Performances that turned heads and kept the crowd fresh on the beat from the most notable Cyphers: Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Maybach Music Group, and Chris Breezy himself.   As the heavyweight lover grabbed the mic it took the show back to 1988 hits, beats, and a groove Heavy D a Hip Hop legend rocked the mic right.

“It ain’t a red carpet. It’s a sidewalk, bloody from the wolves eating red meat, and these spotlights don’t come with money — they come with police,” spoke LL Cool J to a rapt audience hanging on every word. LL Cool J challenged the newcomers to the game to use their mic for a message leaving the award show and hip hop with a charge of a new direction GLEE.

BET New Sitcom “Reed Between the Lines”

Following the Hip Hop Awards or Hood Honors premiered the black sitcom “Reed between the Lines”, featuring the talents of Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Tracee Ellis Ross. Daughter of the Diva and the quintessential only son of the most iconic African American family in television history (the Cosby Show, if you don’t know you have lived under a rock for eons!) come together to create their own merging of laughs, love and life lessons on a show all about the black family of today facing its problems together. Reed Between the lines l isn’t an open book or a NY Best seller and it needs some time to grow—yet the actors’ chemistry flows through the screen.  The show provides some comedy, casting that gives young and seasoned black actors a chance; Ross gives a convincing psychologist and Warner plays a professor eloquently.  I predict, Reed between the Lines potentially may tackle everything from maintaining marriage intimacy, raising children, keeping a family together, and life with friends as well as life with family—Ross and Warner just snagged a viewer in me. So tune in to BET on Tuesdays at 10 ET p.m. and catch “Reed Between the Lines”.
